Mohan will lead consumer & commercial business initiatives for the pet care company with a special focus on the D2C business. She will also be responsible for scaling growth in the company’s various verticals.

D2C pet care company Heads Up For Tails (HUFT), has announced the appointment of Swati Mohan as Chief Business Officer. Working at the company since 2008, Swati will be responsible for scaling growth for the company across segments of Brand & Marketing, Tech Advancements, Growth Partnerships, and Product Innovation. She brings with her rich experience of over two decades across Media & Entertainment, Tech, and Advertising.

The hiring move comes after the pet care company recently raised $37Mn (INR 277 Cr) in a Series A round led by Verlinvest and Sequoia Capital India along with participation from Amitell Capital and existing investor, W&C PetTech.  

Commenting on her appointment, Rashi Sanon, Founder, Heads Up For Tails said, “We are delighted to welcome Swati to Heads Up For Tails. She is a seasoned professional with a two-decade-long track record as a proven leader and has driven profitable growth in large, multi-channel consumer businesses. She brings significant experience in growing brands, improving operating performance and customer experience, and delivering results.”

She also added that under Mohan’s leadership, HUFT aims at building a stronger tech platform for all the needs of pets at every stage of their life and they look forward to its transformational journey of achieving their mission statement.

In her previous stint, Mohan was the Head of Marketing at Netflix and was part of the core leadership team in the first 3 years of operation of Netflix in India. Before that, Mohan has worked with National Geographic, Fox Networks Group, Group M, O&M, FBC Media, and Endemol.
