Home Town appoints new CHRO

Sindu has been with the Future Group since 2015 and was leading their Learning & Development arm, Future Learning – Corporate HR Consulting, Future Sharp – Skilling & Livelihoods (NSDC JV) and Future Innoversity (Higher Education vertical) before coming on board as the CHRO for HomeTown.
Home Town appoints new CHRO

Home Town, which runs under the parent company of Future Group has elevated Sindu Aven as the new CHRO. In her new role in Home Town, she would be to leading the Human Resources and Administration functions and to enable the 3P continuum (People-Performance-Profitability) as we move into a new phase of growth. She will be reporting to the Managing Director, Viraj Ddwania. 

When asked about her key focus areas for this financial year, she replied, “Our focus is on ensuring maximizing returns for our investors and shareholders.  And needless to say all of these business imperatives become a reality only when you have the right talented people to make this happen. We already have a national footprint of close to 40 stores PAN India and would be adding more stores in this FY.” 

Sindu has been with the Future Group since 2015 and was leading their Learning & Development arm, Future Learning – Corporate HR Consulting, Future Sharp – Skilling & Livelihoods (NSDC JV) and Future Innoversity (Higher Education vertical) before coming on board as the CHRO for HomeTown. 

She is a seasoned business professional and a serial entrepreneur with 25 years of experience across education, social development, corporate and digital business sectors. Sindu is a creator by nature and has many firsts to her credit including setting up of the entire Kidzee franchisee at Zee Learn where she was instrumental in leading and managing over 2000+ Kidzee centers across India and developing innovative curriculum and franchise building metrics to retain a leadership position in the pre-school market.
