Nanjappa Palekanda has joined production major Netflix as Vice President - Talent Experience and Operations.

“I'm grateful for the incredible professionals and amazing well-wishers I've come across throughout my career - Infosys, Google and Uber. I now head into an exciting new adventure at Netflix, with the same drive to work with amazing people,” Nanjappa Palekanda, VP - Talent Experience and Operations, Netflix, said in a post.

“During this special personal moment, I would like to urge all my well-wishers to spare a positive thought/action in support of all those in India (or those who have loved ones in India), who are braving the heartbreaking situation brought upon by the pandemic. There's loss and suffering for sure, but there are also numerous everyday heroes, going out of their way to support others, many of whom they have never met before,” Palekanda added.

Palekanda carries 18 years of experience working across major companies. Before joining Netflix, he was associated with technology giant Uber for more than four years.

Most recently, he was Senior Director, People Business Operations, Uber, where he was a member of the CHRO's staff and led a team that worked across Employee Experience, HR Service Delivery, M&A, Risk & Compliance and Portfolio Management for the People function.

Palekanda started his career with Infosys in 2003 as Software Engineer and served in the role for two years. He later took the role of Associate Manager, Global Campus Recruitment and Relations.

After Infosys, Palekanda joined Google and completed his longest stint of more than 10 years serving the company in various roles, including Lead - HR Business Partner.
