Zeta introduces ‘Select gifting solution’ under its R&R portfolio

To simplify multi-vendor gifting, Zeta has come up with its new select gifting solution, Zeta select gift offer, which will allow the corporates to order and issue digital gift vouchers for their employees from preferred online brands.  This has been introduced as a new line of digitized gifting solution under its Rewards and Recognition portfolio ‘Spotlight’. Under its Select gifting solution, corporates can choose from a variety of virtual gift vouchers from brands such as Amazon, BookMyShow, MakeMyTrip, Shoppers Stop and many more brands will be added soon. This would enable the corporates to instantly order and disburse these vouchers to their employees digitally via email. Employees, in turn, can avail the vouchers either online or in brick and mortar stores. They do not need any card or physical coupon or voucher. With this completely digital ordering and disbursement process, Zeta aims to take away all the hassles of procurement and distribution of gift vouchers saving a significant amount of money and time for companies.

To understand more about this new endeavor of Zeta and corporate gifting landscape we reached out to Ramki Gaddipati, CTO & Co-Founder of Zeta. Here are few excerpts from the conversation:

How is the Zeta select gift offer different from the other solutions under Rewards and Recognition portfolio ‘Spotlight’?

Select Gift is unique in its ability to enable disbursal of brand-specific vouchers. It is a fully digitized process, meaning that any procurement or disbursement logistics that HR managers typically face are eliminated. It’s markedly different from InstaGift, which allows HR managers to offer pre-loaded gift cards, and Cash Incentives, which allows team leaders or HR managers to electronically disburse cash incentives. Select Gift offers HR managers the option to choose from various brands that we’ve partnered with, as well as avail a special discount available exclusively through Zeta.

What should the corporates keep in mind while choosing gift vouchers for employees from various brands?

Usability and acceptability are two key points to keep in mind for HR managers and organizations, alike. For instance, if a large company issues digital gift vouchers from a leading retail chain, some employees in smaller cities, where the brand doesn’t have any stores, may not be able to use the vouchers. In such a case, it would be better to offer gift vouchers that are also accepted online. Since Select Gifts enables HR managers to choose from a variety of brands, it becomes easier for them to plan their gifting exercise and procure digital gift vouchers from multiple vendors, if required, via one interface, the Zeta dashboard.

What solutions have you observed being most successful in corporate gifting space? What trends do you foresee?

Digitized gifting solutions, we’ve observed are doing really well in the market. Our own solutions are perfect examples of this. Since digitized gifting solutions solve acceptance issues for employees and make procurement and disbursement easy for companies. We see the preference among employees as well as corporates gravitating towards digitized gifting solutions.

How do you see the demand for corporate gifting evolving and what is the role of digitization in this evolution?

The current approach to gifting employees say for the festive season or R&R has been to offer a physical gift. We foresee this going the digital way, and companies offering employees the freedom to choose what they’d like to get for themselves. It would also allow companies to personalize gifts for their employees. Digitized gifts would also take away from HR managers the hassles of procurement, disbursal and manage the entire logistical process.
