CHRO of Arvind Fashions steps down

Shilpa Vaid, the Chief Human Resource Officer of fashion lifestyle brand Arvind Lifestyle has stepped down after 3.5 years. 

Confirming the development to People Matters, she said that she had a great stint at Arvind and she is proud to have been part of the exciting phase of the Company’s journey leading up to the recent listing on the stock exchange. 

She said, “Arvind is a high energy, high-performance organization and I had the most talented team there. I will follow closely the successes the team achieves in the years to come.”

Shilpa Vaid stepped down for personal family reasons, and she is planning to take a break to help reset & recharge herself for a few months before exploring new opportunities & career choices. 

She is an industry veteran who has more than twenty years of experience. Before joining Arvind, she was working with Bharti Axa General Insurance as CHRO. She has worked with companies such as Aviva, Metlife, and others in different capacities. 

Announcing her movement in a LinkedIn post she wrote, “Today is my last day at Arvind Fashions Limited. I have always believed that your team makes you who you are & this HR team has made me better than who I was when I started my role here. A team with incredible energy, passion & an indomitable spirit. A team that truly believes in ‘making a difference’. I am really proud of what we have accomplished together here & how we have grown as a function. A shout – out to all my direct reports who made my time here special. I hit jackpot with you guys!.”
