Cognizant reshuffles its senior management team

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp., the US company that has most of its employees in India, has made several changes to its senior management team as it seeks to strengthen its focus on newer business opportunities, including social, mobile and cloud computing, and give more responsibilities to its young leaders, a report by Mint said.

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp., the US company that has most of its employees in India, has made several changes to its senior management team as it seeks to strengthen its focus on newer business opportunities, including social, mobile and cloud computing, and give more responsibilities to its young leaders, a report by Mint said.

Kalyan Mohan has been named as venture partner and product engineering lead at the company’s Emerging Business Accelerator (EBA) business. Mohan will report to chief executive Francisco D’Souza, Mint quoted an email sent to all Cognizant employees.

Shankar Srinivasan, who was the human resources head at Cognizant, will head a new venture to roll out products and services specifically for the company’s employees. James Lennox, a member of the company’s senior leadership team, will replace Srinivasan as the chief people officer.
