Mettl raises $4 million through Series A funding

Mettl, an online skill assessment platform, has raised $4 million Series A round led by IndoUS and existing investors. Prior to this, Mettl had raised angel funding from Blume Ventures, Dr. Puranjaya Singh, Naveen Tewari of Inmobi and others. According to Vani Kola, MD at IndoUS, who will join the board of the company, “Mettl has far superior technology than its peers and is scalable and applicable for global companies. Mettl is poised to become a global player and continue to expand the use cases of their strong proprietary technology to multiple business applications. They also have a great team that we are excited to work with.” The fresh rounding of funding will help Mettl diversify its focus from its traditional base of IT and Internet industry and develop hands on offering across industries such as education, electronics, finance, IT/ITeS and retail.
