Ltd. conducted a study among Indian companies to identify practices of health and benefits being offered among Indian companies, and the study reveals that only 19% cos. in India offer pension plans. These pension schemes are in the form of defined contribution superannuation schemes. They are primarily under the National Pension Scheme and group gratuity.
