Rewards have become inventive

Companies are offering inventive rewards to its employees to help their retention and engagement strategies. Lately a number of companies have made it to the news for offering unconventional and expensive rewards to its key talent. While Infosys was in the news for gifting its key employees with iPhones, HCL made it to the news with rewards ranging from cars and international vacations. Analyst studies have increasingly indicated that such rewards are much more effective in driving pride and engagement compared to hike in salaries.
