85% of Indian cos find gender diversity recruiting a big challenge

A leading Facebook based recruitment platform MyParichay, yesterday announced the findings from its recently concluded pan-India survey. The survey underscores social recruiting has moved from a trend, to a necessity, where 9 in 10 recruiters believe that a social media based hiring tool will give them a competitive advantage in gender diversity hiring. 85% of Indian companies surveyed, mentioned that diversity is crucial to fostering innovation in the workplace. 3 in 4 recruiters struggle to find qualified women candidates to support gender diversity goals.
