Initial salary of women in IT sector higher than men: Report

Even as IT sector stands male-dominated, when it comes to initial salaries, women earn at par or more than their male counterparts, according to a recent survey. In Delhi, women (Rs 9.8 LPA) earn more than males (Rs 9.5 LPA) with experience between 0-3 years. However, as the experience increases, i.e. more than 4 years, men start earning more than women, 'Salary Survey 2015' by iimjobs, an online recruitment platform for management positions in the country stated.
