Research shows promotions may disengage

A recent research by Korn Ferry states that only 51 per cent of employees in its global survey are confident that their organisation knows which employees they should be investing in. Additionally, only 52 per cent are confident that they have identified those who are “ready now” for specific roles. The research indicates that promotions in most organisations are based on what people can do, not for who they are.
