Ford staff protest against incentive cut

Employees of Ford India plant near Chennai refused to use the staff transport facility today in a token protest to the cut in production-incentive announced by the company. According to the Ford India Employees Union, over 2,000 workers declined to use the staff buses during the day shift. The protest follows the car manufacturer’s decision to cut down on production incentive. According to union sources, the company has a range of parameters on which the incentive is decided.
