Most companies okay with flexible working environment

A global survey conducted by Citrix states that by the end of 2013, 93 percent of organizations will have implemented workshifting policies, up from 37 percent, which currently offer workshifting for part, or all, of their workforce. Organizations are recognizing that giving people the ability to work from anywhere can benefit both parties. The survey said 71 percent of respondents indicated they use flexible work schedule to let people work from anywhere, while 63 percent said they use it to allow its staff work from home.

Flexible work environments are being adopted by Indian companies as it enables staff to work from home when required (80 percent), attract top talent (76 percent) and enable them to recruit workers in low cost regions (61 percent).
