In the recent development, GSK Consumer Healthcare has some structural changes in the top HR leadership team. Rahul Kapoor has been elevated as EVP HR, India Sub-Continent and Ongmu Gombu will lead HR operations for Asia as VP, HR.
Senior HR structural changes at GSK India

GSK Consumer Healthcare elevates Rahul Kapoor as the EVP HR for India Sub- Continent effective from 1st June 2018. Based in Gurugram, Kapoor will report to Arun Sehgal, Vice President- HR, Asia Pacific, support Navneet Saluja, Managing Director, GSK Consumer Healthcare. He will be a part of the ISC Leadership Team. He will succeed Ongmu Gombu who has been promoted to Vice President, HR Operations Lead, Asia Team. In her new role, Ongmu will lead the region as we continue to focus on our effectiveness in Global HR Operations and our contribution to delivering our Global strategy and IPT priorities.

Rahul has nearly two decades of experience in Asian markets including India, Japan & Korea, and South East Asia. He joined GSK India in 2008 and after a successful stint, in July 2014, he became the HR Business Lead for Consumer Healthcare Asia. Post the Novartis Joint Venture (JV), he was appointed HR Business Lead for South East Asia & Japan/ Korea. Before GSK, Rahul has worked with ITC and GE. Rahul holds an MPM in HR from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.

Ongmu joined GSK in 2015 from Baxter Healthcare. She started her HR career with Essar Oil and after that worked for some multinationals including Duracell, Gillette and P&G in India, the US and the Middle East.
