The Govt. of India is likely to appoint IMF’s Siddharth Tiwari as the Chief Economic Advisor, replacing Raghuram Rajan. Tiwari will have a tenure of three years. Tiwari is currently director of the strategy, policy and review department, according to the IMF website.
