Pharma company Cipla’s senior HR Director Sumit Neogi has stepped down from his position. March 6th, will be his last working day at Cipla. Talking to people matters on his exit, he shared that he will be joining a new organization within this month and he is moving out from pharma sector. 

Talking about his stint with Cipla he said, “My journey with Cipla was excellent. In the last two years, we have done a lot of transformation and the leadership team has worked really hard to enhance the corporate functioning and supply chain.” 

Neogi is a human resource professional with 14+ years of experience in the domain and worked with organizations such as Cipla, Aon, Reliance Industries and Bharat Petroleum. 

He joined Cipla in January 2016 as Head Business HR, Corporate Functions. In September 2016, he was elevated to Senior Director & Head HR Commercial – Chronic & Emerging , Alternate Channels and Super Specialities. 

Prior joining to Cipla, he was working with Reliance Industries as Group Hr for four years. He is an alumni of XLRI Jamshedpur.
