Kevin Vaz, president and head of network channels Star India (The Walt Disney Company - India) has reportedly resigned from his post. According to media reports, Vaz is set to join Reliance-backed Viacom18. He is expected to succeed Jyoti Deshpande

Vaz who joined Star TV Network in 2018 as CEO of regional entertainment channels, was promoted to his current post in September 2021.

During his stint as CEO, he headed Star India’s regional channels portfolio across Maharashtra, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Andhra & Telangana, Kerala and Karnataka.

The new appointment seems to be part of the reported change in its organisational structure at Viacom18.
