Music as an employee engagement tool

Employee engagement processes and practices can be an innovative exercise in itself. Perhaps, inspired by the fact that when words fail music speaks; there are a number of companies who have experimented with music as an employee engagement tool, so as to engage their employee and help them break away from their silos. Companies such as Aircel and EXL Services have opted for music to engage employees in different leisure activities in the past. Aircel recently had organized 'Music Mania' and EXL Service instituted a guitar club which offers guitar classes to its employees. In the same vein, McDonald India, too has chosen music as a medium engage with teams in other departments. It has recently launched the Indian chapter of what is known as the biggest singing contest in the world...Voice of McDonald’s! The initiative is a commitment to its employees through the ultimate, international language of music, and to offer them a world-class opportunity to achieve their dreams.
