The Global Analytics and Research firm, The Smart Cube has recently launched a new hiring programme called as ‘Aspire’ to help the company expand its base and commitment towards recruitment of top quality talent. The initiative also aimed at enhancing candidates’ workplace skills in business analytics.

The programme begins on 14 July 2017 and it encompasses modules on industry orientation, analytical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving skills. Some of the successful students will also get an opportunity to undergo additional research-based training sessions.

Commenting on the launch of Aspire, Sushma Rana, Chief Human Resources Officer, The Smart Cube, said: “Ever-increasing competition for high quality business and analytics professionals means companies have to evolve their approaches to identifying the best talent. We believe Aspire, our new and innovative hiring initiative, will help address this challenge, as well as shaping academic course content to better meet our needs.

“Through this partnership of industry and academia, we aim to equip future talent at educational institutions in India with business skills and acumen which will prepare them technically and professionally for the workplace. People development forms an integral part of The Smart Cube’s philosophy and it starts the moment we identify new talent.”

The new industry-academia based programme is supported by the collaboration of selected educational institutions across India, to engage students who are pursuing specific management and industry-focused qualifications.  One of the premium institutes associated with ‘aspire’ is Jamia Hamdard University which has been chosen to be Aspire's first partner institution. It will offer a dedicated three-month, on-campus training programme, developed in unification with The Smart Cube, for MBA Pharma and M Pharma students.

Dr. Shibu John, Head, Department of Health, Hospital & Pharmaceutical Management, Jamia Hamdard University stated: “We received a great response from our MBA Pharmaceutical Management, Health Management and M.Pharma students when we shared the news of The Smart Cube coming to our campus. The majority have already signed up to the preliminary session, to introduce the objectives and content of Aspire. I look forward to seeing successful candidates have the opportunity to start their careers with a forward-thinking, global business.”
