Delna Avari quits Tata Motors

The Carnegie Melon University graduate was the head of the Nano product group and played an important role in repositioning the car in the Indian market

Tata Motors' marketing head for passenger vehicles, Delna Avari, has resigned from the company to pursue entrepreneurial ambitions. Avari has been working with the Tata Group since 2001 and has served in positions in India and abroad. She worked as area manager for Europe and vice president of Tata MotorsBSE 0.22 % in Thailand, where she handled commercial vehicle operations.
