Engineering is the most sought-after course among Indian students, with 70 per cent saying it a subject of their choice, according to a survey by Shiksha.com. The survey was participated by 1000 students and Computer Science & Engineering is the most preferred among engineering streams. Maneesh Upadhaya, Business Head at Shiksha.com says that this is a shift from the times when students were forced to take up courses beyond their choices.
