GMR Aviation holds training programme

GMR Aviation Academy, the aviation training arm of GMR Group, is hosting the second International Civil Aviation Organisation training course for aviation personnel from 17 countries from today. The objective of the three-day programme is to improve the safety and efficiency of air transport through high standards in training and competency of aviation personnel on a world-wide basis. Organised by ICAO, the meeting is aimed at instructors, course developers and validators from several nations who want to keep pace with changes driving the aviation training industry. The event will see a culmination of over 85 participants spanning 17 countries, who will be engaged in brainstorming to identify opportunities for improvement of training modules. The first regional edition for Europe, Middle East and Africa was held in Abu Dhabi in March early this year.
