Indian training program wins UN recognition
The Friends of Coconut Tree (FoCT) training programme of the Coconut Development Board has received UN recognition. The Asia-Pacific meeting of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) held in Bangkok recently adopted the FoCT training programme as a model project that could be followed by its coconut growing member countries.
