Based on some of the recent trends in sexual harassment, many employers are rushing to buy cover for sexual harassment. Dr. Reddy’s, Piramal Enterprises, and Bharti Airtel are among companies which have either bought or are negotiating with insurers to provide cover for sexual harassment lawsuits which can cost a company millions. Until now, the trend has been for companies to cover only directors and officers under their D&O policy.
