Diversity and women empowerment emerged as the key theme in the talent circles this week, with companies showing strong intent to hire and strengthen their women demographic. Safety, flexibility, mentoring and networking, a leadership are among the top agendas for organisations to empower and include more women at the workplace. Besides that top recruiters such as Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, and Pepsi are waging a fierce war for female B-school graduates. All of these recruiters are scampering to hire female talent in order to improve their diversity scores.
Interestingly, a news report this week also mentions that alumni networks and ex-staff hiring will be big on the recruiter’s agenda this year. It appears that recruiters will be encashing their employer brand equity to fill critical positions.
