A new recession starts for Indian employees in the Gulf

Employees working in Dubai and adjoining regions are living in with the anxiety that the current Dubai debt issue will worsen the global economic crisis of the past years and a half. Indians form 42.3 per cent of the population of Dubai most of which are employed in realty and other sectors in Dubai and other Middle East cities. People have started applying for new job offerings which are half of the salary they used to get. Last year onwards, everyone in Dubai was experiencing either loss of job or a salary cut. Most of the people were asked to go on long leave and some of them were getting half or quarter of the salary. This created chaos which is further enhanced by the recent incident.
