Organised sector to create 3.2 lakh jobs in July-Sept this year
As per the Employment Trends Survey conducted by Ma Foi Randstad, the organised sector in India is expected to create about 320,000 jobs between July and September this year. The services sector is leading the job creation space buoyed by the optimism in the economic scenario of the country. Conducted among 650 companies across 13 industry segments in eight cities, the survey revealed that 418,000 jobs were created between January and June, with the healthcare sector creating 121,000 jobs, with another 63,000 in the hospitality sector. The top five sectors leading the boom are healthcare, hospitality, real estate and construction, information technology and IT-enabled services, and education, training and consulting. Real estate and construction leads with the highest growth in number of people employed. It also expects growth in average salary by about four per cent, followed by pharma (3.5%) and healthcare (3.4%) during the third quarter.
