Cadila Pharmaceuticals names Ashraf Allam as its global COO

 Cadila Pharmaceuticals has appointed Ashraf Allam as its new global Chief Operating Officer (COO). 

Before joining Cadila, Allam worked with Public Investment Fund as CEO. He has also worked with Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, Eli Lilly, BMS and Mundipharma.

With close to 30 years of experience, Allam started his career as General Manager at Al-Riyadh Governorate, Saudi Arabia.

He has expertise in pharma,biotech, medical devices and consumer health industries. His other expertise lies in start-up operations for listed and privately owned multinational companies, profit and loss management in Europe and emerging markets operations. Corporate development, licensing, acquisitions and integration, raising external funding and executing deals with international investors among others.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Pharmaceuticals from Egypt.
