Orient Paper & Industries hires Vinod Rai as CHRO

Orient Paper & Industries, (CK Birla Group) has onboarded Vinod Rai as its chief human resources officer. He will be based in Kolkata and report to Ashwin Laddha, Managing Director and CEO, Orient Paper & Industries.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Orient Papers and Industries Ltd (CK Birla Group)!,” Rai wrote on Linkedin.

Rai who comes with more than two decades of experience working with leading organisations, will be responsible for HR transformation, capability building, policies realignment, digitisation among others.

Before joining Orient Papers, Rai worked with Maruti Suzuki India as AVP and Head - Human Resources. Jubilant Life Sciences and Panacea Biotec were other organisations where he previously worked in various roles and responsibilities.

He holds an Executive-MBA in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, and an MBA in Personnel Management & Marketing from Nagpur University.
