SMEcorner appoints new Chief of Strategy and Investor Relations

Mumbai based fintech company SMEcorner, registered under the trade name DigiKredit Finance, announced the appointment of Vinit Barve as a Chief of Strategy and Investor Relations. 

Prior to joining SMEcorner, he has served as an investment banker with Investec India, where he used to head the Fintech vertical. He spent about 7 years advising various clients in lending, insurance, insurance broking, and payments. Prior to Investec, he was a part of the BFSI Investment Banking team at Ernst & Young. 

Speaking on the appointment, Samir Bhatia, Founder & CEO, said, “We are excited to have Vinit on board in a leadership role. He joins SMEcorner at an exciting time where the company is poised to grow exponentially in the coming years. “

He also stated that their organization will greatly benefit from Vinit’s acumen and knowledge in strategy and investor relations, which he has accumulated over the years working in various financial domains and they wish him very best and success in his new role.

Vinit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from IIM Ahmedabad. With experience in advising clients in finance matters, it will be interesting to see how he leads the company in charting new horizons in the business world.
