DHL Global Forwarding promotes two APAC leaders

DHL Global Forwarding has announced two appointments to its Asia Pacific management board, effective as of January 1.

In the South Asia region, Niki Frank, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding India, is now CEO of South Asia. He will oversee the entire sub-region of South Asia, comprising India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Frank previously held leadership positions in the global strategy function of Deutsche Post DHL, the parent of the DHL companies, including Senior Vice President of Global Business Strategy for DHL Global Forwarding.

"The South Asian markets have enormous potential to offer and I am deeply committed to helping local businesses explore the vast cross-border opportunities within the region and beyond. I look forward to working closely with our teams in the various countries and empowering them to boost service and customer satisfaction levels," Frank said.

In the ASEAN region, Yvonne Lee is now Managing Director of DHL Global Forwarding Philippines. Lee has been with DHL for over 17 years, holding leadership positions around the Asia Pacific. Her most recent roles were Head of Strategic Projects, DHL Global Forwarding ASEAN and South Asia, and Head of Business Processes and Organization, DHL Global Forwarding Thailand.

"One of my key priorities is to drive an even more customer-centric approach in response to the evolving needs of local businesses, as we ramp up our digitalization efforts to provide customers with a better shipping experience,” Lee said of her new appointment. “Having worked with colleagues in the Philippines in my previous role, I am excited to join a team of dynamic and committed freight forwarders to tackle the unique opportunities and challenges here.”

Both Frank and Lee will report directly to Kelvin Leung, CEO, DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific.
