Former CEO of Jubilant Foodworks, Ajay Kaul joins Everstone Group

Private equity firm, Everstone group announced the appointment of Ajay Kaul as senior director to lead its food platform, F&B Asia. Kaul will be responsible for driving the growth of its Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) that includes brands like Burger King India and Indonesia and Domino’s Pizza Indonesia. 

Kaul will also serve as the Executive Chairman of the board of F&B Asia’s investments in Indonesia. 

Philip Walters, Executive Chairman at F&B Asia, shared in media saying, “Kaul’s experience in the food and beverage industry will be hugely beneficial as F&B Asia targets higher and sustained growth in its QSR businesses in Indonesia.”

Before joining F&B Asia, Kaul served as CEO of Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. He was associated with Jubilant for over 11 years and resigned in 2016 to pursue opportunities outside Jubilant group. He carries an experience of nearly 28 years and has earlier worked with companies like American Express, TNT India, and Indonesia. He pursued his B.Tech from IIT- Delhi and is an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur where he completed MBA in marketing.
