Morgan Stanley appoints Anahita Tiwari as Head of Global Centres, India

American financial services provider Morgan Stanley has appointed Anahita Tiwari as the Head of its Global Centres in India. She will be taking over the new role from John McGory who will take over the same role for Baltimore operations of the company. 

With over twenty-five years of experience, Tiwari will be leading a workforce comprising more than 6,000 employees. She will be based in Mumbai but also lead the Bengaluru office that together serves as a global capability centre (GCC) of India. The GCC supports the global businesses of the company across institutional securities, wealth management and investment management. 

Commenting on the movement Tiwari said, “The global centres are an integral part of our business strategy and I am excited to join Morgan Stanley as the firm continues to invest in the growth of our highly talented and dynamic workforce in India. I am honoured to be a part of this journey and look forward to contributing and working closely with the business and the global organization to create value.” 

Prior to this, Tiwari was the Head of Global Finance and Business Management at JP Morgan Chase. Her experience spans finance and technology consulting, project management, corporate finance, and business transformation.
