GoDaddy launches a community-based app ‘Flare’ for entrepreneurs

GoDaddy, an internet domain registrar and a web hosting company launched community –based app ‘Flare’ for entrepreneurs. It is a platform where people can share ideas and receive a quick feedback from fellow entrepreneurs, experts, potential customers and investors. Flare is currently available on iPhone and android.

It includes a feature called as ‘top charts’ that displays trending ideas and opens up avenues for idea-supporters. As told to press, Rajiv Sodhi, Vice President of GoDaddy India and Australia said that GoDaddy is dedicated to develop innovative technologies, products and tools to empower entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses.

 Its officials believe that ‘Flare’ is a community- driven technology that not just promotes knowledge sharing but also opens up new business avenues for all associated members. 

One noting feature of Flare is that it is entirely mobile based service and people will not be able to access this online. 

Flare isn’t GoDaddy’s first innovative venture related to domain names. Earlier, it had acquired Outright in 2012, which is a bookkeeping service.
