Systematix Group appoints Mitali Chitnis as chief human resources officer

Systematix Group has appointed Mitali Chitnis as its chief human resources officer, strengthening its leadership team as the group looks to deepen organisational capability and support its next phase of growth.

The appointment was announced through a company statement and confirmed by Chitnis in a LinkedIn post, marking her move to the diversified financial services group after more than 19 years in senior human resources roles.

In her new position, Chitnis will lead Systematix Group’s overall people strategy, with responsibility for organisational culture, employee experience, leadership development and HR governance across the group’s businesses.

Chitnis joins Systematix Group from FundsIndia, where she served as chief human resources officer and played a central role in shaping people strategy during periods of expansion and organisational change. Her previous roles include senior HR leadership positions at FundsIndia Private Wealth, Fisdom, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Mirae Asset Investment Managers and ASK Group.

Her career also includes stints at Reliance Capital, part of the Reliance Group, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Housefull International, giving her exposure across financial services, manufacturing and consumer-facing businesses.

Systematix Group said Chitnis brings deep expertise across talent management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, organisational development, total rewards and HR compliance. The company added that her experience aligning people practices with business priorities would be critical as the group scales.

Chitnis is known for a people-first leadership approach, having led large teams and implemented workplace initiatives aimed at building inclusive, high-performance cultures while maintaining a focus on employee wellbeing.

Her appointment comes at a time when financial services firms are placing greater emphasis on leadership pipelines and workforce resilience, as competition for talent intensifies and regulatory and market conditions evolve.
