Online job platform and career community for women - Sheroes, recently acquired Gharkamai, online women-centric portal that assists them to find work opportunities from home.

This move was made by Sheroes with the aim to capitalize market encompassing of 300 million women who want to reconnect to work opportunities and gain financial independence. 

As told to press by Sairee Chahal, founder and CEO of Sheroes, that they are very excited with the new acquisition and they wholeheartedly welcome users of Gharkamai to Sheroes. Also , she assured career success to women  as Sheroes is focused on aiding women to control their careers, whether it is home based, part-time, or full time.

Founded in 2008 by Manisha Sareen and Kachina Chawla, Gharkamai over the past 10 years has helped around ten thousand women to find project based work and to reach out to more than 1500 companies. The job portal even lists various work from home options, flexi-time, and part-time work vacancies.

Sheroes was incorporated by Sairee Chahal in January 2014; the platform was created to provide career eco-system to women and help them navigate their professional roadmaps. 

Recently, Sheroes  had acquired health counseling platform LoveDoctor.in with the  aim to broaden their community support. Also , In august ,  SHEROES raised approx. Rs 12 crore , as series A round funding, to fortify investments in technology, resources and expand opportunities for work from home initiative.
