Aditi Dixit | Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition, Centre of Excellence | Titan Company Ltd.

For Aditi Dixit, Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition, Centre of Excellence at Titan Company Ltd., she believes that for some time now, the HR industry has identified that while people are experiencing rapid changes in the way they interact with technology, brands and newer ways of working as a consumer, the same hasn’t’t trickled down within organisations. In an effort to change the narrative, she has always offered similar consumer-grade experience to her people in each of the roles she’s held. Sharing an instance from her professional life when she was the Lead at HR Academy, she was constantly mapping out how the critical people function roles would change due to digital transformation and was responsible for looking at the capabilities, experiences and exposure employees need, to upskill and reskill themselves to be future-ready.

Inclination Towards HR

For the HR Business Partner, the beginning of her journey in HR began when she met an enthusiastic HR professional who got her interested in the idea that people function can create value for both - the bottom line and the people who drive it. And that’s how she chose HR as her career.

Designing Forward-Looking Policies

Aditi believes that the major challenge people function faces today is helping organisations adapt to the rapidly evolving work landscape while addressing the needs of a diverse and remote workforce. In her role, she has been looking at all these aspects extensively to create forward-looking policies and processes for her people.

As she looks at the year gone by, her key learnings include the increasing investment companies are making to create flexible work environments, blending tech and physical spaces to accommodate the shifting preferences and needs of employees. Other than that, organisations are taking significant steps to support employees physically, mentally and emotionally through wellbeing programs and initiatives. She believes that in 2023, theses two aspects - hybrid work models and holistic employee wellbeing will be the key focus areas for organisations to attract, retain and engage new and existing talent.

Key takeaways from Are You In The List Awards

For Aditi, the highlight of People Matters Are You In The List award powered by Aon was the CHRO coaching round, which she felt was quite impactful. The personalisation in the penultimate round helped her understand areas of improvement and equipped her with the methods and tools to work on them. More than that, the entire process gave her an opportunity to gain from her peers who were on the same journey as her in their professional careers and garner key insights, views and perspectives from their varied experiences in different industries.

Future of HR

It has been Aditi’s innate persistence that led her to great heights in her professional career and as she looks towards the horizon, she feels that the people function will bring about a paradigm shift in how organisations navigate an increasingly volatile environment amid the disruptions.
