InsuranceDekho elevates Ranjeet Singh as CEO of corporate insurance arm

InsuranceDekho has appointed Ranjeet Singh as CEO of InsuranceDekho for Corporate, the insurtech platform’s newly launched corporate arm aimed at India’s enterprise insurance market.

Singh has been elevated from his previous role as Business Head for Retail at InsuranceDekho, where he played a key role in scaling the company’s business distribution. He brings over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry to the new role.

The launch of InsuranceDekho for Corporate marks the company’s formal entry into the corporate and enterprise insurance segment, with a focus on addressing gaps in product depth, advisory quality and post-sales service across commercial insurance lines.

The new business will offer a technology-led approach to commercial insurance and risk management, including AI and ML-powered coverage gap analysis and claims analytics. The company said the platform is designed to help CFOs, CHROs and risk managers assess where their organisations may be over- or under-insured.

InsuranceDekho for Corporate will operate as a full-lifecycle risk management partner, covering pre-issuance risk assessment, policy placement, ongoing advisory, endorsement management and dedicated claims support.

Commenting on the appointment, Ish Babbar, Co-Founder and CTO, InsuranceDekho, said corporate insurance in India has remained underserved in product depth and ongoing service quality. He said Singh’s industry experience, ecosystem understanding and role in scaling InsuranceDekho’s B2B business make him the right leader for the new corporate arm.

Singh said the opportunity is to address the gap between what corporates need and what the market currently offers across product depth, advisory and claims experience.

The corporate arm will be supported by an advisory board that includes Sumit Sengupta, who has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, and Vinamra Shastri, who brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across growth strategy, M&A and corporate advisory.

The company will also operate across specialty lines and provide international reinsurance placement capacity across specialty insurance, mega risks and global marine lines.
