Q. What are the specific characteristics of sales teams in your industry?
With disposable incomes rising and the time gap in repeat purchase of consumer durables/ electronics reducing, the growth in this sector has been phenomenal. Products are being designed keeping the customers in mind and particularly, the strategy is to go rural and provide technologically superior products which are affordable. Our sales teams are spread in our branches across the country. The emphasis of the sales teams has been to achieve new milestone in sales, increase our network and enhance penetration across channels. The sales teams are not only good executors but they are also good planners. As we launch the sales assault in India and take on competition, it is important that we keep our basic business philosophy in mind which strongly believes in 'contribution to society' and promote 'eco ideas for life'.
