Harmonious employee relations are the backbone to healthy organizations. We in India have seen good industrial growth in recent years. It is important to be able to continue to provide the right environment for industries to flourish and take the country to greater heights. In addition to fuelling India’s economy, industrial growth also positively influences the lives of people through an active direct and indirect contribution to various socio-economic parameters such as employment, standard of living and diversity. Any dent in the congenial industrial relations scene overall can become a serious dampener for entrepreneurship and growth. It is the need of the hour that workers, trade unions and leaders come together to act as growth catalysts and create a workplace environment based on sound principles of business, labor welfare and reason. This would provide the required confidence and impetus for industries to continue to invest in India and boost the growth of our economy.
