‘Maitri’ an initiative launched by Govt. to empower HR & Industries

Government of Maharashtra is taking many initiatives to improve all government machineries. Instead of increasing number of people working for the government, now the focus is to develop all the human resources into skilled manpower. As far as department of Industries is concerned, it is dedicatedly working in this direction and has launched a platform called as ‘Maitri’. 

‘Maitri’ is a group of people representing 18 different government departments like Industry, labour , energy, environment and so on . They sit on one platform and listen to the needs of the Industries and try to resolve in the first meeting itself. 

Many issues get resolved then and there, since all the departments are present there. So that applicant need not run from pillar to post and waste his valuable time. So, Maitri is producing great results since last many months. The effort is also being made to reform the system by reducing number of permissions required by industry and businesses. The number is brought down from 67 to 36 and further, the aim is to bring it down to 25. So, it will be a great step forward towards ease of doing business.
