In today’s challenging environment, hiring right person for the right job is the crucial task. Companies rely on skilled resources but finding them is a costly affair.

With single job opening, leads to thousand of application results in burden to handle. Most of the organizations have standard hiring system i.e. reviewing Resume, Group Discussion, Interview and now a day’s psychometric test has started playing great role. Studies have shown industries are going and adopting technology. World is in online Social Networking. Without avoiding the thought of being going global in social aspect, the hiring cost can be reduced by having PLATFORM of E-RECRUITMENT.

E-Recruitment

Goal always remains same for an organization that is reducing the cost and automating the processes. E-recruitment as per wiki “the process of personnel recruitment using electronic resources, in particular the internet. Companies and recruitment agents have moved much of their recruitment process online so as to improve the speed by which candidates can be matched with live vacancies. Using database technologies, and online job advertising boards and search engines, employers can now fill posts in a fraction of the time previously possible”.

E-Recruitment system reduces energy use and pollution associated with manufacturing, transporting and recycling of paper products. The automatic process would save the energy in mailing, storage, handling, filing and reporting tasks. Direct costs savings come from reduced paperwork related to resumes, advertising and on boarding.

Organization should develop an easy to use and a well functional online portal focusing on developing a concrete online recruitment process which can give concrete readymade profile. The E-recruitment should be so well designed that it gives you competent professional for the role which should emphasized on Online Test focusing on Skills test, Competency test, Experience recommendation, Psychometric test and lastly submitting the candidature. Once the profile is submitted the system would be able to generate required competent professional data for which HR team can conduct telephonic / online Interviews to check the capability of the person and finally face to face interview with the stakeholders.

This would help not only in slashing the advertisement cost, selection procedure cost but also reducing paper work. Hot skill alerts can be added for allowing organization to be notified when a candidate registers who matches the criteria for future requirements. Job seekers can search and apply for jobs 24x7. Recruitment agencies which cost you thousands of pounds can also be evaded for the real financial advantages on online recruitment.

E-recruitment can also be promoted in Social Networking sites by highlighting the role organization looking for. This would also help in reaching people having required skills set. If we work on the hiring though e-cruitment process, they would reap a better workforce and will help in streamlining the function.
