Companies that realised the significance of wellness as an important factor in talent retention, did not just win the talent war but also successfully met the needs of remote working that resulted from the Covid-19 crisis. RPG Group is one such organisation which realised the urgent need to offer the right wellness policies to the workforce. The group accordingly put a number of wellness policies in place, including significantly successful ones such as the hiring of a doctor to help employees deal with stress and other medical conditions.
People Matters caught up with Venkatesh to gather insights on more such policies undertaken by the group.
Elaborating on some other wellness policies, Venkatesh noted that the company rolled out a happiness campaign and adopted “Hello Happiness” as a tagline. He said, “The natural corollary was to create a framework of happiness. So we created that framework.”
