Sajid Iqbal currently leads the HR function of GE Aviation, Oil and Gas and Transportation Businesses in the region. Sajid foray into HR was through post-graduation in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and post that he started his career with L&T and later joined GE in 2003.
In a career spanning 18+ years Sajid has worked in whole gamut of HR which includes talent management, recruitment, leadership development in roles based in India and the United States.
His favorite area of work is talent development which includes engaging with business leaders and senior functional leaders to collaborate on a large scale intervention to develop and build talent capability for the future. In 2014, he led a team of HR professionals to conceive and implement a successful talent development initiatives for 130 mid-career technologists to develop talent capability at GE Healthcare’s Technology center, this intervention received recognition both internally and externally by National HRD Network, Bangalore.
During his career in multiple GE businesses he has experienced different phases of organizational journeys giving him exposure to some of the toughest people challenges. He is based in Gurgaon
