Abbott Healthcare has promoted Manoj Gupta to Director-HR, marking a new chapter in his 17-year journey with the company.
Abbott Healthcare has elevated Manoj Gupta as its new Director-HR, effective August. Before this role, Gupta served as Associate Director – HR for the Medical Devices and Diagnostics India region.
Confirming the appointment on LinkedIn, Gupta wrote, “Thrilled to share that I’ve been appointed as Director – Human Resources at Abbott Healthcare Pvt Ltd.”
The move marks a significant milestone in his journey—over 17 years at Abbott shaped by inspiring mentors, supportive colleagues, and transformative experiences. “I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities to contribute, grow, and lead alongside some of the most passionate and incredible business and HR leaders,” he said.
An ex-serviceman with 16 years in the Indian Armed Forces, Gupta began his corporate career in 2007 as Centre Manager at Jetking Infotrain. He transitioned into HR the same year, joining Piramal Healthcare as Manager – Talent Acquisition, before moving to Abbott.
Looking ahead, Gupta said he remains committed to “putting People First and enabling strategic growth through impactful talent initiatives and HR practices.”
