Following the news of Kulmeet Bawa’s take over as the MD of Adobe - South Asia from the outgoing Umang Bedi — we now learn that Bedi is going to be Facebook’s new Managing Director of India operations.

He will be taking over the role from Kirthiga Reddy, who is returning to the United States to take on a new role in the Global Accounts team at the company’s Menlo Park headquarters which manages Facebook’s relationships with the world’s largest global advertisers.

Bedi will lead in building and managing strategic relationships with top clients and regional agencies in India. “For me it’s a promising opportunity to participate in India’s digital growth, and I can’t think of a better place to be at,” he said. Bedi has close to two decades of leadership experience covering sales, marketing and partnerships where he successfully built teams and grew businesses for multinational companies.
