Allana Group appoints Manish Dwivede as Group CHRO

The former Emami Agrotech CHRO brings more than 27 years of experience across people strategy, industrial relations and organisational transformation.
Allana Group has appointed Manish Dwivede as its Group Chief Human Resources Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the food and agro-products conglomerate advances its growth agenda.
In his new role, Dwivede will lead the Group’s people strategy across businesses. His mandate will include strengthening leadership capabilities, building talent pipelines, advancing organisational culture and aligning workforce priorities with the Group’s long-term business plans. Allana Group announced his appointment through an official LinkedIn update.
Dwivede joins Allana Group after a four-year tenure at Emami Agrotech, where he served as Chief Human Resources Officer. He was responsible for the organisation’s broader human resources, industrial relations and administration portfolio.
With more than 27 years of HR leadership experience, Dwivede has worked across the food and agriculture, chemicals, automotive, paper and industrial sectors. His career spans talent strategy, HR business partnering, employee relations, organisational development, culture transformation and corporate social responsibility.
Before joining Emami Agrotech in 2022, he spent more than seven years at DIC Corporation as CHRO and Senior Vice President–Human Resources for India and Bangladesh. In that role, he managed HR, industrial relations and CSR across the two markets.
Dwivede previously held senior roles at VE Commercial Vehicles, the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture. He initially joined the company as an HR business partner before moving into the position of Head–Corporate HR. His earlier experience includes roles at Ballarpur Industries and Jindal SAW, where he worked on corporate HR, greenfield workforce planning, policy development, hiring and employee engagement. His career history spans several large Indian and multinational manufacturing businesses.
The appointment comes as Allana Group continues to expand its presence across food processing, consumer products and agro-commodity markets. Headquartered in Mumbai, the privately held group operates integrated manufacturing facilities in India and exports its products to more than 85 countries.
Dwivede’s cross-sector experience will be central to building a more integrated people agenda across the Group’s businesses while developing the leadership and workforce capabilities required for its next phase of growth.
