Amadeus appoints Poornima Kamath as Head of People & Culture, APAC

Kamath brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across global organisations, including Hindustan Coca-Cola and Microsoft, with expertise spanning talent management, organisational effectiveness, leadership development, and diversity & inclusion. 

Confirming her appointment on LinkedIn, Kamath reflected on her previous role at Fi, calling it “more than just a job” and “a whirlwind of belief, hustle, learning, and deeply human moments.” She expressed gratitude to her colleagues and shared her excitement about her new role at Amadeus, describing it as “a new canvas, a broader stage, and a chance to build for scale with heart.” 

In her 20+ year career, Kamath has led HR for Sales and Diversity & Inclusion at Hindustan Coca-Cola and spent over 12 years with Microsoft, where she worked across talent acquisition, performance management, leadership effectiveness, and culture initiatives. Her global experience spans multiple business groups, including engineering, research, and support, and she has collaborated across diverse cultural contexts.
