Bina Belani joins Ascend Telecom Infrastructure as Chief People Officer

Known for her expertise in HR strategy, talent management, change management, and workforce transformation, Belani has consistently played a pivotal role in aligning people practices with business priorities. 

In her new role at Ascend, Belani will focus on building strategic talent capabilities, strengthening the organization’s people and culture agenda, and creating a future-ready workforce along with the leadership team. With her proven ability to drive transformation and her people-first philosophy, she is well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to Ascend’s journey and vision in the telecom infrastructure space. Before joining Ascend Telecom Infrastructure, Belani was with Jio Platforms as the Head of Human Resources for Retail Technology, where she led transformative HR initiatives over nearly three years.

She previously served as the Head of HRBP at SLK Group, where she was instrumental in shaping people practices for business. At Wipro, she held the role of Head of HRBP for a Product Engineering Services cluster, successfully managing Business HR. Her longest tenure was with the Vedanta Group, where she spent close to a decade in multiple leadership roles, including heading HR for the Value Addition Business. During this time, she contributed to the various agenda including HR technology, talent management, diversity, corporate communication, while serving on key organisational committees.
